Dr Kim Forrest Winchester

Dr Kim Forrest-Winchester


Kim gained her Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 1993 with First Class Honours and three academic awards. Kim has been a member of the team at Mitchelton for over 25 years.

She spent over ten years employed as a part-time clinical demonstrator at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry.

Kim has a keen interest in all fields of dentistry and is particulary experienced in preventive, cosmetic and paediatric dentistry.

Kim is involved in continuing education and has served on the Executive Committees of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (Qld Branch), the Pogonion dental study group and the Bennett Movement dental study group.

In her (limited) spare time Kim loves running (slowly), skiing (quickly) and enjoying the company of her 2 adult children, who she fears, may never leave home.

Dr Steve Ceccato

Dr Steve Ceccato​


Dr Steve Ceccato was born and bred in Brisbane, though has spent several years living overseas in Canada. He attended high school at Marist College Ashgrove and went on to study at QUT where he completed a degree in Human Movement Studies. After realising it was not his calling, he decided to enter the dental field. Dr Steve went on to study Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast which included placements in Robina Hospital, and Ballina Hospital. After completing his degree in Dentistry he moved back to Brisbane where he began and continues to work full time as a Dental Officer in the Australian Army. Dr (Captain) Steve has been with the Mitchelton Dental Centre team since early 2017 working on Saturday to satisfy your out-of-hours dental needs. He has in interest in all areas of general dentistry and thrives on providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere in his surgery. Dr Steve is great with kids having 4 of his own with his wife Natalie. He is also our resident rock star playing guitar and singing in his band ‘The Dashounds’ for the last 15 years, where he entertains crowds from musical festivals to weddings. Dr Steve is also an avid sportsman and enjoys playing cricket, soccer, volleyball, touch football, AFL and kickboxing as well as maintaining his general fitness. He enjoys relaxing at home watching movies with his kids as well as burning off some energy on weekend bushwalks.
Jennifer Lau

Dr Jennifer Lau


Jennifer joined Mitchelton Dental Centre after completing her Graduate Diploma at Griffith University. She graduated with Academic Excellence and received the Australian Dental Association Award for placing first in her graduating class. Jennifer is known for her friendly chairside presence and compassionate approach. She dedicates herself to creating a naturally welcoming environment for patients, and is committed to changing the stereotypes of ‘daunting visits to the dentist’. Jennifer adores interacting with children to ensure that the seeds of positive dental experiences are sown from the very beginning, and continue throughout their lives. Her passions also extend to Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign Go; wherein she pairs exceptional focus and precise attention to detail and aesthetics, restoring confidence in her patients’ smiles. Outside of the clinic, Jennifer enjoys baking sweets to share with her loved ones, and travelling abroad to explore, discover and taste exotic cuisines.
Natalie Vivian

Dr. Natalie graduated from University in 1996. She has worked in the UK and has previously taught students at the University of Queensland Dental School.

Dr. Natalie has a special interest in children’s dentistry. Her personal experiences as a mother are such that she felt what most parents feel, and she knows a parents genuine desire for their child to have really healthy teeth.

Dr. Natalie is married to a Vet and has 3 children. She is also a Netball coach and has an interest in the beauty field. She also has a multitude of other qualifications including chauffeur, chef , financial adviser, pet wrangler, homework guru and peace negotiator.

Dental Hygienist

Mandy graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1991 and has worked in the areas of general preventive care and periodontal care in a wide range of general and specialist practices in both Queensland and South Australia.

Mandy has been part of the Mitchelton Dental Centre team since 1994, apart from a few years when she lived in the UK and took time off to raise her two daughters.

With over 30 years experience in the dental profession, Mandy has extensive experience in the area of preventive disease. She works together with the dentists to provide fully integrated dental care.

Tiana Romeo

Dental Hygienist​

Tiana graduated in 2014 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Oral Health Degree. She joined the team at Mitchelton Dental Centre in 2018. Her special areas of interest in dentistry focus on a preventive model of healthcare, dental hygiene and tooth whitening. Tiana is passionate about the results she achieves and is committed to absolute best practice. She has a gentle touch and aims to make the dental visit a positive experience for patients of all ages. As a current member of the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia(DHAA), she regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses. In her spare time, you can find Tiana socializing with friends and family or travelling. Tiana is dedicated to providing safe, high quality and individually tailored dental care to help you achieve and maintain optimum oral health.
